Woodland Bop on a Single

In March 1972, in the wake of the success of T Rex, Fly Records released a four track single or EP that had Debora (sic) backed with One Inch Rock, Woodland Bop and Seal of Seasons, these three chosen no doubt for their brevity. Woodland Bop is taken from Beard of Stars. It was part of set of such releases called MagniFlys and featuring The Move, Joe Coker, Procol Harum, etc.

Lyrics Woodland Bop

Everybody's doin' the woodland bop
Once you started you'll find it hard to stop
Everybody's doin' the woodland bop

In the hallowed morning
See her in the moon-white
Streaking across the sky
In the evening dusk dunes
See her like a sun bird
Streaking across the sky

Everybody's a-doin' the woodland bop
Once you started you'll find it hard to stop
Everybody's doin' the woodland bop

In the hallowed morning
See her in the moon-white
Streaking across the sky
In the evening dusk dunes
See her like a sun bird
Streaking across the sky

Doo-doo-da-da-da, doo-doo-da-da-da
Doo-doo-da-da-da, doo-doo-da-da-da

In the hallowed morning
See her in the moon-white
Streaking across the sky
In the evening dusk dunes
See her like a sun bird
Streaking across the sky
